Villa Verde Back Yard

Villa Verde

Marriage is one of the seven sacraments of the Roman Catholic church.

Majority of Filipinos believe in this sacrament of matrimony, that getting married is the answer for being in love. You and your partner will sign a certificate of marriage and will live happily ever after. I always believe in marriage but still don't know the reason why.

I guess I was born catholic and was told that getting married is sacred.

The Filipinos defined marriage like lechon and kalderetang kambing, putong bong bong and dinuguan, it's bloody but tasty and a full house.

The Filipinos are not ashamed of marrying other race especially anglo-saxon but other race is an option.

Philippine National Anthem
by Julian Cruz Balmaceda and Ildefonso Santos

The Summer of 68

I was born because of them.

This picture was taken in Baguio during the phat days of the Philippine Economy when the middle class was still on the government statistics.
My Mom and Dad were still in love during 60's but the bouquet of roses will not last and will burn like wild fires. I will not continue this because it was the past.

Corazon

The Former President of the Philippines

Corazon C. Aquino

In 1986 I voted for this woman. One of the richest and the most powerful woman in the Philippines next to Imelda Marcos. I voted for her because I believed that she can changed the political structure of my country and create a new meaning of Democracy not only in the Philippines but throughout the entire region of Southeast Asia.

I will always remember that day of election. when the whole entire country voted for her. She was not to be remembered as a great President but a house wife who got revenged through the voice of the 1986 People Power Revolution.

She was the destiny that the Filipino people had been waiting for almost 25 years. Corazon changed the meaning of being Filipino.

Tsunami 2004

It was the night that an angel whisphered to my ear and said go home.
I should have listened but I didn't. I tried to go home but my friends stop me from turning back and woke up the next day with stitches on my forehead.
I have wondered all my life if God really exist. If god really created us to be equal or to be divided. Or just toys of a supernatural being that can destroy us by creating a ripple effect that can claim nations.
I was never been so hurt and so desperate to know the meaning of life if the creator itself destroys life that ones created. I am not the savior of this world but just a lamb that wasn't butchered.
