Makati

It's been awhile I haven't seen the Philippines.
They said the infrastructure, Tele-communication, jobs and more taxes were added to the economy. EVAT can create more of these if the Filipino people can afford the change. If the Philippine Government will increase the minimum wage so the chickens will stop scratching the ground and lay some eggs.

A long suffering people who deserve so much more while still managing to smile through life.

Were there only a way to know how to make a difference. Were there only a way to really help. Better men than we have tried. Though we should never never stop trying... and as for myself -- try harder.

I was in Makati (my hometown) for the better part of last October, 5 years since I had last been there. It looks all foreign now to me, very cosmopolitan, parts of it looking like it's Singapore. Aside from that (and inflation), nothing much has changed.
