Manila Market in 1899

The Pasig River was the trading place of commerce in the Philippines during 19th Century.

Mexican pesos was widely used. Traders from China, India, Spain, Mexico and other countries ruled by Spain converged in this Manila Market. The melting pot of foreign trade.
